  • Joe Vukov

    Joe Vukov is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Philosophy Department at Loyola University Chicago. His teaching and research focus issues at the intersections of ethics, neuroscience, and philosophy of mind, and of science and religion.

  • Michael Burns

    Michael Burns is an Assistant Professor of Biology whose research focuses on cancer and the microbiome. Additionally, he is exploring the interactions between science and religion, including projects on vaccine hesitancy among religious people.

  • Tenzing Dolma

    Tenzing Dolma is a fourth-year student studying Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Anthropology. Her former research includes Cognitive measures of Musicians, Metacognitive processing in Meditative states, and Genetic Adaptation in High-Altitude populations. In her free time, she is a Yoga instructor, Peer Advisor, and Cat mom!

  • Sydney Samoska

    Sydney Samoska is working toward a BS in Biology and an MEd in Secondary Education at Loyola University Chicago. She is a part of the CAN Lab and the iPAB Lab exploring projects that interact with neuroscience, philosophy, and education.

  • Rebecca Valeriano-Flores

    Rebecca Valeriano-Flores created this website! She is a graduate student in the Philosophy Department at Loyola. Her dissertation is on existentialism, phenomenology, and the work of Frantz Fanon.
